10 Things You Need to Know

BEFORE BOOKING YOUR HAM.TOUR

You must have comprehensive travel insurance, proof of insurance must be provided. A Deposit of 10% is required to secure your place on the tour. Payment in full is required at 60 days prior to commencement of trip and is not refundable.

Forward and return transport to NYC are not included. Be aware when booking your flights of the date, time and airport you land in NYC.

Your passport must have more than 6 months validity from your last day in the USA.

It is your responsibility to secure permits to travel to the USA.

If you miss internal ground transport connections during the tour, rejoining the tour will be at your own expense.

There are elements of walking and using stairs (and at times with luggage) and may inconvenience people with limited mobility. Sneakers (worn in) are the best option for footwear.

Best to travel as light as possible as you will need to manage your luggage on Amtrak services and at the station. Amtrak has baggage size and weight limits
(2 x 23kgs and 71cms x 56cms x 35cms).

If you have a lockable checked bag for your flight it must have a TSA approved lock or padlock or be checked in unlocked. Visit www.tsa.gov for more info. Many attractions have restrictions on bag sizes that can be carried into the site (45cm x 40cms x 20cms). Ensure your day pack/bag is compliant.

Included tours go ahead regardless of weather conditions, be prepared. Tour operators may cancel at short notice, where possible, suitable alternatives will be arranged by your escort.

The depicted hotels may be unavailable on the dates selected due to demand, in which case an alternate of equal status will be arranged.
